The Shark
   by Denise Rodgers

The shark, a creature full of guile,
Despite his constant, gaping smile,
Has teeth quite sharp and pointy thin.
Be wary of his foolish grin.

If he swims near, give him a whack
Or else you’ll make a dandy snack.
Behind his sparkling toothy white
His mind is filled with thought of bite.
