Cyclops
by Denise Rodgers
It’s tough to be a cyclops if
you’ve less than grade-A vision.
You bump against your monster friends.
You can’t see with precision.
It’s tough to find good glasses that
won’t jiggle out of place,
or make the others giggle as
they fall right off your face.
It’s tough to be a cyclops,
and that’s where my story ends.
I think it would be easier
to get a contact lens. |
