Inspired by the title,
"If I bought all the food for my family"
I would buy some chicken wings
Good enough to please a king.
I’d buy doughnuts, maybe fifty.
That would be so very nifty.
I’d buy forty chili dogs
And top it off with fresh egg nog!
I would buy cookies and cream ice cream.
I’d be so full that I might scream!

What a Long Day!
What a long day,
I've worked so hard.
I had to walk the dog
and mow the yard.
I had to feed the fish
do the laundry
and clean the dish.
What a long day;
I want to go to bed.
My brother's sick.
At least, that's what he said.
I have to give him medicine
and care for him all day,
so if he goes to bed and rests
he'll be better by Monday.
What a long day! |
