The students of Wardcliff wrote the following poem
using the poetic devices of
alliteration, simile and metaphor.
Flying Pig Behind the Closet Door
The purple portly pig crouched behind the closet door.
He looked like a giant blob and his wings were very sore.
He was as slow as a fat hippo.
His wings were so big, he started to tippo.
The purple pig looked like a giant grape.
The really fat pig was very out of shape.
The purple portly pig crouched behind the closet door.
He finally got out and started to soar.
