Here is a poem inspired by a
plastic bird from the "magic suitcase."

A crazy bird saw a fine pelican yesterday,
and yesterday was the last day in May.
The pelican saw a lion searching for prey.
It was a zebra hiding in the hay.
This pelican flew around and around
until he got dizzy and fell to the ground.
"Don't raise your eyebrows at me, you bird!
I have to say that you're absurd."
